We’re onboarding with a new online ordering vendor, Olo, and a new loyalty program/app vendor, Thanx! For most of you, this means Olo will replace ChowNow and the new Brixx app (powered by Thanx) will replace BrixxRoxx.

The two vendors will integrate with each other to not only create a seamless user experience (goodbye, app complaints), but also be significantly easier for you to manage.

Think of the Brixx app (built by Thanx) as having two different functions: housing our loyalty program and online ordering.

Thanx will also manage our online ordering web experience at order.thanx.com/brixxpizza. This means guests can get rewards by making purchases in-store, on the website OR on the app.

GUESTS EARNING REWARDS

Servers are no longer responsible for “punching” cards in the app. Thanx automatically tracks guests’ credit card purchases and gives them credit toward earning rewards.

It’s important to note that Thanx does NOT store guests’ credit card information for security reasons. Instead, Thanx runs atop the credit card companies’ networks, which send Thanx notifications when a linked card transacts in order to give proper reward credit. Guests can be sure their card information is safe with Thanx, and that only their credit card company has access to it.

If a guest chooses not to link their credit card, they can still earn rewards by uploading a photo of their receipt directly within the app! To upload a receipt, guests should tap the menu in the top left corner of the app, tap “Upload Receipts" and upload the receipt photo they snapped. The Thanx support team will review each photo to ensure purchases are valid, etc.

GUESTS REDEEMING REWARDS

When a guest redeems a reward, please make sure servers know to verify that the reward redemption timer is counting down. This ensures the reward redemption screen is not a screenshot and that the guest isn’t trying to “cheat the system.”

Servers will simply use the App discount buttons in your POS to discount the check in-store - no more barcode scan necessary.

ONLINE ORDERING

Guests are now able to order online for pick-up OR delivery within the Brixx app, as long as the app is linked to Olo.

The entire Thanx subscription fee is covered by the Marketing Fund.
